 George, don't worry about the edits; I am quite guilty of long strings of
 edits myself and as far as I can tell Trac only produces a message on the
 initial submission.

 Simon, I am sad to say that I can confirm that `-fno-specialise` does not
 help this issue. That being said, I'll see to it that we have a enabled-
 by-default `-fcross-module-specialise` option and some diagnostics output
 going forward.
