 For the record, this commit bumped `Cabal` from
 `679812d2b679af952a7c9ab45a9a3a3476874a07` to
 `072e4728079e6caf521339e3934e1279aa09e83d`. Thankfully there aren't too
 many commits between these points.

 What looks particularly suspicious is the `Cabal` commit
