 Since things were changed since that commit, I've revised it and made
 manual reversal. This commit was mainly a set of comments, relevant
 changes were more or less local and I've created this reversal patch
 mechanically. I still don't understand underlying machinery, but it looks
 this patch makes things work again on win64.
