 You clearly know something important here!  Our
 [https://ghc.haskell.org/trac/ghc/wiki/Building/Preparation/Windows
 Windows wiki page] says only "install msys2".  Might you elaborate it to
 be a bit more specific, and explain why various things are important?
 Perhaps a section on that page about msys2?
