 What documentation is needed beside the new section in
 `docs/users_guide/glasgow_exts`? Also, can you point me in the direction
 of the release notes? I'd like to add a note not just mentioning pattern
 synonyms but also explaining that it is a preview that will need feedback
 from actual usage and which has more features planned.
