 No it isn't.
 I'm at commit 8a2989c5df76712d5cd52ff918d4e6c1a741a90b and I managed to
 bootstrap RC2 up to that commit.

 This ticket is about self-bootstrapping using RC2 which I did for
 openSUSE's ghc so far. IIRC a selfbootstrapped ghc is required because of
 ABI changes between releases.
