 Oops, I just realised that the first set of files I attached were from the
 device build but, as I've been away from my iPad for a few days the
 version I generated now is for the simulator.  Both have been misbehaving
 in the same way though.  I'm back with the device but I have to recompile
 the device version from scratch.  I'll attach the simulator files. I can
 get the device files too but it'll take a while.
