Comment:

 Sadly, it quite possible that I won't have time to work on this for the
 next week (or even two, if things go bad). I'm unassigning myself from
 this ticket for the moment. If anyone wishes to take over the next thing
 to do is ensuring that loopified call jumps to the correct cmm block:
 after the stack check, but before LDV code and heap check.
