Comment (by maeder):

 I've replaced `throwErrnoPathIfMinus1_` with
 `throwErrnoPathIfMinus1Retry_` (also in
 `libraries/unix/System/Posix/Files/ByteString.hsc`) to see if this makes a
 difference.
