 Hmm. If you run "./Setup build -v" then you should see Cabal running a
 command like
 {{{
 /usr/bin/ghc [...] -optc-march=native [...] -c cbits/daft.c
 }}}
 I presume that that command fails, but that if you run
 {{{
 /usr/bin/ghc [...] -optc-march=native -opta-march=native [...] -c
 cbits/daft.c
 }}}
 then compilation succeeds?
