 I think I suggested somewhere that we should have a special kind of
 `catch` that doesn't catch asynchronous exceptions.  That would give us a
 good way to fix this problem manually, at least.  It does need changes in
 both GHC (a new primop) and the RTS (a new stack frame) though.
