I may well have said this before, but I’m enthusiastically in support of this proposal. In fact the first five motivating examples are things I could use regularly. I particularly like the `import Foo ( Foo, module Foo )` idiom, as it will almost halve the import blocks I have at the moment. Not sure that I can add much beyond what has already been discussed here, other than to say it’s a +1 from me!
