Hey y'all,

(I haven't seen any traffic on this list--I hope it's
ok to ask help questions here.)

I'm writing an interface to Berkeley DB, and, while I
can link to my wrapper library fine from C, I can't
seem to do it successfully from GHC.

My first attempt was:

from the compiler defaultlib directives, I then did

I assume that the warnings are no problem, but I can't
figure out how to get rid of the duplicate
"mainCRTStartup" symbol.

This's really vexing me, as there are a number of
things such as gdb support that would go a long way
towards making Haskell more useable for general
purpose applications (instead of the "hard"
calculations at which it excels), but I just can't
seem to make it work.
