This change caused my overnight build to fail.  It falls over when
transforming the Prelude in hatlib:

    $ script/hat-trans -P. -I. -trusted -prelude
                       -D__GLASGOW_HASKELL__=602 PreludeBasic.hs
    Fail: TraceTrans.withLocal: locally defined data constructors or method
