Fix driver-script failure to return an error code.
This fault was introduced recently when allowing per-file OPTIONS
to be read from the source file.  The per-file section went into a
sub-shell in the driver, but I didn't notice that error exit codes
would no longer be propagated out.  Easy to fix.
