I know that this may come as a surprise to you but please do bear with me and read what I have to say of which things if taken seriously would go a long way in changing our lives for the better. My name is Kenneth Loko, and what I have to offer is an urgent and very confidential business proposition. 

On May 1999, an Oil consultant/contractor with our countries Shell Petroleum Development Company in Nigeria, Mr. PITT GUILLORY made a 90-day role-over (Fixed) Deposit valued at Twelve Million United States money, which was in operation for twelve calendar months in my branch. Upon maturity, I sent a routine notification to his forwarding address due to his absence but got no reply.  After another month, we sent a reminder and finally we discovered from his contract employers, that he died from an automobile accident. 

After a year of patiently waiting for someone to come to claim the funds I found out through our agent that he died without making a WILL, and all attempts to trace his next of kin was fruitless. I therefore made further investigations and discovered that he did not declare any kin or relations in all his official documents, including his Bank Deposit paperwork in my Bank. This sum of Twelve Million is still sitting in my Bank and the interest is being rolled over with the principal sum at the end of each year. No one has ever come forward to claim it.

According to the Law in our land, at the expiration of 5 (five) years, the money will revert to the ownership of our Government that is if nobody applies to claim the fund. Consequently, my proposal is that I will like you to stand in as the next of kin so that us working together can claim the money and so that the fruits of this old man's labour will not be in vain as we shall also use the money for charitable deeds. We are going to employ the services of two Attorneys for drafting and notarisation of the WILL and to obtain the necessary documents and letter of probate/administration in your favour for the transfer.
