Johan and I talked about this at the weekend - we hope to get one out
asap.
I'm putting an HGL distrib together (so we can be sure it works this time!).
The Hugs distrib-building process will need tweaked for the enlarged
hslib story. (Is anyone out there using the libs in their day to day
work? I occasionally use a few but I really haven't tested the rest
at all thoroughly.)
I doubt I'll have a chance to make the ffi compatible with GHC anytime
this month. [Telling your boss you are planning to leave the country
has a way of upping your workload.] (HsFFI is missing, foreign label
may be buggy (see hugs-users today), some ffi types may not be
supported, never been tried with hsc2hs).
The hierarchial module extension should be tested - can Simon or
Julian point us at a suitable testsuite?
