Comment:

 Yeah, version 0.8 will not build with ghc-7. You need version 0.10.

 The poor error message is unfortunate. It's to do with how we pick amongst
 multiple alternative possible potential solutions in the flag resolution.
 This bit of code is slated for a rewrite.
