 Component: Cabal library | Version: 1.2.3.0
  Severity:  normal         |   Resolution:
  Keywords:                 |   Difficulty:  normal

Comment (by duncan):

 For a real world example see http://hpaste.org/13991

 The user reported that setting `build-type: Simple` and using
 {{{
 runghc Setup configure --extra-include-dirs=/usr/local/include --extra-
 lib-dirs=/usr/local/lib
 }}}
 made the package work fine.

 In addition, the user can make the above settings permanent in their
 `~/.cabal/config` file and not have to worry about this again.
