Comment (by ross):

 It's the risk of slowing down the package page that bothers me.  I
 wouldn't mind if the information were in the per-package tags file (a
 primitive version of Duncan's resources), but that's probably not worth
 the bother.  (Assuming the new version will be taking over soon.)
