[Haskell-beginners] Mixed division

This works
myAvg :: [Float] -> Float
myAvg [] = 0.0
myAvg xs = (foldr (+) 0.0 xs) / (fromIntegral (length xs) :: Float)
but is there a simpler way to "cast" the value of (length xs)?
