[Haskell-beginners] cabal sdist and Setup.hs

I created a package with Build-Type: Simple, and when I run cabal sdist, I get

Distribution quality errors:

The package is missing a Setup.hs or Setup.lhs script.

Is there some problem with the simple build type?
