[Haskell-beginners] How to avoid Gmail attachments? ("An HTML
attachment was scrubbed")

I see that when I post to the Haskell lists (
http://www.haskell.org/mailman/listinfo) from gmail, the end of my post has:
"-------------- next part --------------
An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
URL: ..."
The url seems to be a copy of my mail.
I can't seem to find the appropriate setting in gmail to avoid this. (Or is
it one of the mailing list settings a subscriber can adjust?)
Can someone offer a tip?
Thanks much,
