Magnus: The testing I'm talkgin about is to build [community] with this *preview* release version of ghc. Then, you have to play with those packages to see if they are ready to use. GHC is outdated in [extra] in respect to the stable branch. Why not update it from 7.0.3 to 7.0.4 before?
