As stated in comment #52, it should be there for 0.10. For a temporal  
solution, you can use Xephyr  
(http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/Xephyr), with a little  
configuration you can "embed" it in xmonad, or use it as a "programming  
environment" in case you are a java developer.
