I've used it for that, it has been helpful. I don't know if it was ever the
best way to achieve what I wanted.
I think the thing its self is the only logical consistent way for things to
be.

It is also fairly clear why people don't like it. Obviously it isn't ideal
it doesn't follow some intuitions.
