 I am surprised about those fsks.  But if you ''want'' it in unflattened
 form then rather than fix the bug we can just refrain from flattening.

 Would you like to send an email to ghc-devs to propose this change,
 explaining why?  I'm fully open to whatever would be easiest for plugin
 authors.
