 Hi,

 Sorry for the lack of updates. Some parts of this are working, but in
 general my patches are not yet ready for inclusion in GHC and I haven't
 had time to work on them during the last six months. I do still want to
 finish this, but can't guarantee it will happen in time for 8.4. Anyone
 willing to help out is welcome to take a look at
