 Question about these linters, I assume they scan the unified diff and not
 just the entire file? (I have my doubts as linting causes my laptop to
 heat up extensively).

 It seems to give lint errors for lines that weren't changed like
 https://phabricator.haskell.org/D3862. Is this expected?
