 I suggest the patch attached above. I extended the x32 detection in
 rts/RtsSymbols.c to use "!(defined(__x86_64__) && defined(__ILP32__))".

 Could we apply this one so that GHC can at least build as unregisterised
 on x32 without any problems?

 If I remember correctly, on x32 I also had to use Integer-Simple to make
 it build.
