Comment (by simonpj):

 I only see one superfluous one: `a_sihF` could be pushed inside the RHS of
 `a_s1hE`.

 And still -- at risk of repetition -- how can this one extra allocation
 account for 10% of the entire compiler allocation?  Are there very many
 calls to this function some how?  And if so why?
