 @carter, I was perplexed by this at first as well but if you look at the
 `info registers` output you'll see that GDB is indeed targetting the
 correct architecture. YMM and friends are only mentioned by the output of
 `pregs` (source here,
 https://ghc.haskell.org/trac/ghc/attachment/wiki/Debugging/CompiledCode/.gdbinit)
 which just prints the current thread's `StgRegTable` and indeed has fields
 of these names regardless of the architecture..
