 Yes, as you write on the mailing list, it would make sense to have tests
 for both platform, guarded by CPP. Note that the test case is actually
 produced by `CmmSwitchTestGen.hs` in the same directory. I won’t get to it
 immediately, so marking this as newcomer. Not a very “hip” task, but a
 nice small thing for anyone who wants to easily get a GHC commit with his
 name on it :-)
