 I don't mind if we have to update Cabal here. 7.8 is out and we can't undo
 that. But I'd rather that we had some test in place to look at the ghc
 --info output (and might as well cover the things mentioned in #9614 while
 we're at it), since we do have tools that rely on them and ghc should not
 change them unintentionally.
