 Fwiw, if everything goes according to plan, the GHC 7.11 branch will open
 up in roughly 6 weeks... so that's probably `OldTypeable` upper bound for
 its time-to-live, if we can't sort out the `type-eq` issue in time for GHC
 7.10.1
