 I just tested if reverting the (single) commit
 aa779e092c4f4d6a6691f3a4fc4074e6359337f8 fixes the issue. But it doesn't.
 (Trying to cross-compile GHC on powerpc e500v2 / SPE / Debian port
 powerpcspe.) Any hint how I can help solving this issue?
