 The test is comparing the `hs_popcnt*` C implementation in ghc-prim with
 the `slowPopcnt` in the test itself. I don't see why `slowPopcnt` would
 segfault so probably we're generating the wrong call sequence to
 `hs_popcnt*` in the native code generator (I assume llvm isn't being
 used).
