Thank you Matt for being strict

This kind of issue have bitten me in the past e.g.
- https://gitlab.haskell.org/ghc/ghc/-/issues/22450
- https://gitlab.haskell.org/ghc/ghc/-/issues/22245

So I really welcome the change in policy
